Something that has been close to my heart for a few years now is the concept of a Mikvah.

Here in the UK the opportunities for a non-Jewish lady to take part in this lovely ceremony are non-existent and since Dodi is not any sort of handy man – this completely rules out a home-made version.

But it would seem that even Jewish ladies are being turned away from official Mikvah baths.

My heart is really heavy, how on earth are we to teach our young women, and indeed, perhaps even more importantly, our young men, about the deep joy that comes with observing marital purity, without access to the fundamental element that celebrates the end of a Niddah.
