1st (or 2nd) New Moon Sighted or should that be 2nd (or 1st) New Moon Sighted?

Just in! New Moon Report for April 11 has been sighted in Jerusalem by three witnesses.

On Thursday April 11, 2013 the new moon was sighted from Israel. The moon was
first sighted:
*from Jerusalem by Willie Ondricek at 7:17pm;
*from a second location in Jerusalem by Nehemia Gordon at 7:24pm;
*from a third location in Jerusalem by Yoel Halevi at 7:31pm.

So I’d rather not cause dissention amongst the ranks as I know that many of you have already celebrated (is that the right word for such an awesome Holy Day?) so I will keep very quiet this year and keep my head down as we are going to going to be a whole month behind everyone else who celebrates the Feast Days of our Father.

I think that definitely calls for an ‘oy vey’ moment.  Or maybe I am just growing old disgracefully. Very disgracefully!
